One idea that stood out the most this past year- going back. I went through 6 new books this year, but couldnāt help myself from going back to some of the books that I have already read. Still, its always exciting to go through new stories or see old stories through a new perspective.
One of the most insightful books that explores a range of topics related to creating wealth, finding happiness, and discovering purpose, and does so in a way that is engaging, thought-provoking, and highly motivating.
Most appreciable thing about this book was how practical and actionable it was. Throughout the book, Navalās strategies and techniques inspire creating wealth, finding happiness, and living a fulfilling life.
A delightful book that reminded me of how fun a simple fiction can be. Its simple sense of humour is really engaging and I was struck by the way in which this story can creatively inspire the readers.
It is a great reminder of the power of fiction to inspire and entertain, and I believe it will be enjoyed by readers of all ages.
The pattern is pretty noticeableā¦.I went though a couple classics this year, the books that were unread on my bookshelves since schoolš.
Yet again, a truly engaging story that is all about the power of creativity and following oneās passion. I love reading fiction and this story provided all the more reason to stay curious (not too curious considering the end š), and keep experimenting.
As a UX designer, it is really important understand the user of your product and whether you are anyway near solving their actual problem. This book focuses on this exact topic- customer research and how to not bias their opinion by telling them your idea.
A big thanks to Kush Daga who recommended me this book when I was interning under him at Urban Tv. A great read for those who are interested to learn how to listen to people and understand their actual problem.
A great book on creativity and how to grow as a creative. 10 strategies that are about being creative and sharing your knowledge as a creative. Its a relatively small read but I needed a couple of days to let these ideas settle in.
Austinās masterful writing is followed in this awesome book about sharing your work. I have learnt creativity is not only about doing but also about sharing your process, your journey and what helps you be creative. The Steal Like an Artist trilogy contains a lot of wisdom and deserves to be re-read. ( I canāt remember everything š)
